چکیده
Abstract Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) and photobiomodulation (PBM) both offer significant therapeutic potential in regenerative medicine. MSCs have the ability to self-renew differentiate; giving rise multiple cellular tissue lineages that are utilised repair regeneration of damaged tissues. PBM utilises light energy delivered at a range wavelengths promote wound healing. The positive effects on MSC proliferation well documented; recently, several studies determined outcomes mineralised differentiation populations. As biphasic, it is important understand underlying regulatory mechanisms, as as, provide accurate details irradiation conditions, optimise standardise outcomes. This review article focuses use red, near-infra-red (R/NIR) blue mineralisation MSCs; also reports possible molecular mechanisms which underpin transduction these effects. A variety photon absorbers been identified reported mediate signalling including respiratory chain enzymes, flavins, cryptochromes. Studies report R/NIR stimulate by enhancing activity increasing reactive oxygen species levels; however, currently, there considerable variations between parameters reported. We conclude due its non-invasive properties, may, following optimisation, an efficient approach clinically support MSC-mediated hard repair. However, application, further required identify appropriate delivery parameters, elucidate photo-signalling involved.

متن کاملHarvesting of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells from live rats and the in vitro differentiation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells into neuron-like cells
In the bone marrow, there are certain populations of stem cell sources with the capacity to differentiate into several different types of cells. Ideally, cell transplants would be readily obtainable, easy to expand and bank, and capable of surviving for sufficient periods of time. Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BM-MSCs) possess all of these characteristics. One of the most important benefi...
متن کاملMesenchymal Stem Cells: History, Isolation and Biology
Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) as a kind of adult stem cells possess two properties of long term selfrenewal ability and multilineage differentiation potential into skeletal cell lineages. MSCs were first isolated and described from bone marrow samples. Further investigations have identified several other tissues as alternative sources for these cells. In spite of the clinical importance of MSCs...

Mesenchymal stem cells can be obtained from deferent tissues like adipose tissue, umbilical cord, placenta, skin, bone marrow, etc. These cells have regulatory effects on all types of immune cells such as dendritic cell, natural killers and lymphocytes. Mesenchymal stem cells induce inhibitory phenotypes of Antigen Presenting Cells (APCs) following their activity. They also change T cells pheno...
